FPN Member Webinar
Four Essentials for Evaluation

March 6, 2013
10:00 - 11:00 am ET

Who Should Attend: Staff and board members for foundations and other grantmakers who are involved in funding and/or evaluating their organization's grantmaking work. The webinar is open to FPN members only.
Cost: No charge.
To Register: Register Online.
Presenter: Heather Peeler, vice president of programs, Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO).

Grantmakers for Effective Organizations' conversations with members about evaluation often end in the same place: People are sold on the value of evaluating their work. They understand why evaluation is important and what it can yield in the way of new insights and improved performance. The problem, however, is that it's not always clear where to start. Grantmakers are often unsure about what information they need to know to make better decisions, what it takes to build a culture that values and supports evaluation, what systems and infrastructure they need to develop, and how to make sure that their organizations are evaluating and learning in collaborative ways. No matter your goals for learning, a few specific things need to be in place in order for effective evaluation practices to take hold.

Join us for this webinar on GEO's publication, Four Essentials for Evaluation, where we will answer key questions about evaluation and lay the groundwork for content that GEO will bring to Florida on June 3-4 during The Learning Conference 2013, presented by GEO in partnership with Florida Philanthropic Network in Miami. The Learning Conference will bring together more than 200 leaders in philanthropy for cutting edge conversations that will showcase diverse perspectives, strategies and solutions to help navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with making learning a priority. As an event partner, FPN members are eligible to attend at a discounted rate; registration opens on March 6, 2013.
