Pre-Summit Session |
| Skills & Strategies for
Grantmakers Workshop |
January
31 - February 1, 2012
Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Orlando |
| A skill-building workshop
for grantmakers at all levels of experience |
Are you new to the grantmaking field and
looking to get started on a solid footing with the right set
of skills for your work? Or a more seasoned grantmaker
looking for a refresher on the core skills and strategies
that are relevant in today's environment? Whatever your
level of experience in the field, you won't want to
miss FPN's Skills & Strategies for Grantmakers (SSG)
Workshop.
Using a highly interactive approach and
the most reputable local and national resource materials
available,
the SSG Workshop will help you gain or reinforce the
knowledge and skills you need to do your best work. Taught
by a group of seasoned grantmakers from across Florida, the
two-day workshop is a great opportunity to learn with
experts and to share experiences with other professionals in
the field.
The SSG workshop is a comprehensive educational
program that engages grantmakers in high-level discussions
about the field of philanthropy. The SSG curriculum has been
adapted from the Essential Skills & Strategies (ESS) for New
Grantmakers curriculum, developed by the Council on
Foundations and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, to engage grantmakers at every level of
experience. |
