The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida celebrates 25 years, $1 million in grants through Art Ventures

Launched after the National Endowment for the Arts offered the Community Foundation a $200,000 challenge grant, which the foundation matched with $400,000, Art Ventures now has an endowment of $1.1 million and has awarded more than $1 million in grants. The foundation is celebrating 25 years of making grants to artists and small arts organizations. Aside from the financial benefits, artists say the awards act as a catalyst for professional progress and personal focus.
