Naples, FL (April 20, 2020) - The Community Foundation of Collier County's Collier Comes Together Coronavirus Relief Fund is honored to receive a $350,000 gift from the Brynne & Robert Coletti Fund of the Farmer Family Foundation to support Coronavirus relief.
Through their Fund, Brynne & Bob Coletti provide philanthropic support for charities, nonprofits, and educational institutions nationwide. They have also supported local organizations such as the Guadalupe Center, Naples Botanical Garden, NCEF, NCH Healthcare System, and the Everglades Foundation.
“Brynne and I are invested in our communities we call home and feel compelled to give back in this unprecedented time," said Bob Coletti. "We hope our gift to this vital Coronavirus relief fund that is doing such great work in Collier County will inspire others to do the same."
The Community Foundation of Collier County continues to be the community's philanthropic first responder. Since the Collier Comes Together Fund for Coronavirus Relief has been activated, the Foundation has committed to distributing over $600,000 in grants in the coming weeks to areas of health, mental health, education, basic needs of housing, and food.
Recent and upcoming grants thanks to the Coletti's donation include:
· $10,000 - Grace Place for Children and Families
· $10,000 - Naples Senior Center at JFCS
· $10,000 - NAMI
· $10,000 - YMCA of South Collier
· $10,000 - Youth Haven
· $15,000 - Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida
· $15,000 - St. Vincent de Paul Meals on Wheels
· $20,000 - David Lawrence Center
· $25,000 - The Shelter for Abused Women and Children
· $30,000 - Collier County Public Schools
· $30,000 - Salvation Army Naples
· $70,000 - Legal Aid Services of Collier County
