WEST PALM BEACH — A trio of of nonprofit organizations has partnered to support community health amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the United Way of Palm Beach County, and Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County distributed $100,000 in personal protective equipment to 122 local charitable organizations. Disposable and reusable face masks for adults and children, gloves, hand sanitizer, thermometers, and disinfectant wipes were disbursed to organizations that provide critical services to those in the community who need them the most.
Those organizations include Boca Helping Hands, Clinics Can Help, Alzheimer’s Community Care and Feeding South Florida.
