Bill Hoffman, Interim CEO

Bill Hoffman leads Bill Hoffman & Associates, LLC which is a Tampa-based consulting firm with national-level independent sector expertise in these specialized areas:

  • Educational engagement strategies
  • Nonprofit leadership transitions
  • Organizational and board development

Bill is a prolific author and frequent presenter on these and other related topics, which BH&A studies on an ongoing basis. Bill has senior-level nonprofit management experience in education, having been the president of one of the nation’s top K-12 education foundations, functioning as interim CEO for prominent national and state education and philanthropic associations, as well as leading national, regional and state boards of directors. Since 2012, Bill has helped guide the work of FPN's Education Funders Affinity Group as FPN’s Education Consultant.

He has served as a consultant to various groups and individual non-profits in the education field including the Florida Philanthropic Network, Florida College Access Network, SRI International, National School Foundation Association, the National Math and Science Initiative, and the Consortium of Education Foundations as well as others. His work has been primarily in K-12 education, especially college and career readiness and success, standards reform, and STEM fields. Learn more about Bill.

Cynthia Crank, Office Manager

Cynthia Crank, Office Manager

As Office Manager, Cynthia plays a crucial role in keeping FPN’s office running smoothly and effectively; assuring governance is thoroughly documented; supporting FPN’s activities, events and programs; and meeting the needs of our members. Cynthia comes to FPN with a background of more than 25 years in office management, global administration operations and human resources at large corporations and small businesses throughout the Tampa Bay region. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Art History and a current member of the Catholic Council of Women, Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Geula Ferguson, Director of Programs

Geula Ferguson, Director of Programs

As Director of Programs, Geula provides vision and oversight for all FPN educational programs and learning initiatives, including Census 2020, College Access & Success Intiative and Florida Women's Funding Alliance. Geula has been with FPN since 2010, both as a long-time consultant and staff member. Before joining FPN, she served as Interim Executive Director of Donors Forum of South Florida, a regional association of grantmakers that merged with FPN in 2012. Formerly the marketing director for a technology company, Geula joined Donors Forum as a special events coordinator in 2006. After two years as the Special Projects Coordinator, Geula worked at the Sun Sentinel News in its education program as the development coordinator. During her time at the Sun Sentinel, Geula brought new partnerships together to help deliver educational programs to South Florida students. In early 2011, she returned to Donors Forum as a program manager and assumed the interim director position in September 2011. Geula is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she earned a degree in art history.
