Legislative & Medicaid Expansion Update

As health related costs represent approximately 40% of Florida’s statewide budget annually, it is imperative that grantmakers stay on top of what legislation and policies are being proposed which may impact the essential programs our communities rely on. Join us for a discussion of recent legislative activities related in health and updates on Medicaid expansion efforts from experts from the Florida Policy Institute and Florida Voices for Health. We’ll also dive into what to expect next, how to become involved in the process no matter where your organization is the continuum of policy work, and hear from fellow FHF members about their current efforts.
