Supporting education issues, Organizations & needs in Florida

Join your fellow education funders to learn more about how the Lastinger Center has been applying research in their work to increase literacy in Florida.  They work throughout Florida as well as nationally from early years onward with programming designed to improve reading instruction based on the science of teaching reading. FPN’s new lobbyists will join us to provide a better understand of the implications of new education legislation and how it might impact our work.  RSA Consulting will help us being the process to be poised for engagement during the 2023 legislative session.  As a bonus, we’ll learn about the Osceola Promise program which provides last dollar scholarships for all Osceola high school graduates.

The Education Funders Affinity Group (EAG) supports a culture of high expectations for all students, in and out of school, from early childhood through postsecondary education, leading to career success.
