They are grantmakers and technologists, with a team of in-house software developers and data scientists, working to advance socially beneficial AI solutions.
Featured Speakers
Elena Brennan is the Strategy and Innovation Associate at the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation. In her role, she advances the Foundation’s grantmaking initiatives supporting nonprofits that harness artificial intelligence and data science to address critical global challenges, including climate change, digital health, and AI literacy. She also works closely with PJMF’s Products & Services team to promote the development of socially responsible AI tools and to strengthen user engagement. Elena holds a degree from Wesleyan University and resides in Brooklyn, New York.
Michelle Pomerantz serves as the Board Liaison in the Office of the President where she works with the Board of Trustees to advance the Foundation’s strategic vision. She provides counsel on board-led philanthropic initiatives and drives meaningful external engagement to amplify the Board’s impact. Michelle has over a decade of experience supporting global clients across the public, private, and social sectors in reaching their impact goals. Previous roles include Head of Philanthropy at giveback, a tech-enabled social enterprise that assisted donors managing their giving portfolios, and roles within UHNW family offices focused on strategic giving. She holds an MPA from NYU and a BBA in MIS from Villanova University.
