Featured Speakers


Melodie Griffin is a seasoned grantmaking professional, specializing in creating impactful collaborations. She holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Auburn University. Based in central Florida, she was drawn to the sunshine state by its abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, enjoying horseback riding, running, and other adventures with her family.



Laura started her career in advertising and marketing working for a large advertising agency and dot com start-up after graduating with a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University. She transitioned into marketing and business development for a national nonprofit association before obtaining an MA in Arts Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University which ultimately launched her career in nonprofit management. Laura has served in various fundraising positions at Japan Society, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and consulted various nonprofit organizations on their fundraising efforts. Before joining FPN, Laura served as the Director of Nonprofit Relations for the Community Foundation of North Florida where she oversaw grant administration and advised nonprofit fundholders on growing their endowments.
