    Sarah Di Troia

    Project Evident, Senior Advisor


    Sarah Di Troia has over thirty years of experience as a grantmaker, strategic advisor, coach and nonprofit executive. This experience fuels an approach integrating market and stakeholder insights with executive coaching to support organizations, teams and individuals to realize new opportunities. At Project Evident, Sarah has focused on AI for the last three years to enhance equitable outcomes and help practitioners and grantmakers understand, innovate, and implement AI.  Before becoming a Senior Advisor to Project Evident, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Health Leads. She led the doubling of impact, developed new earned revenue streams and positioned Health Leads for a successful $30 million capital raise to fuel further growth. Before Health Leads, Sarah was Managing Partner at New Profit. She led investment selection and launched the Pathways Fund, a $50M fund focused on addressing youth development and school support issues.


    Chantal E. Forster

    Technology Association of Grantmakers, Executive Director


    Chantal E. Forster is the executive director of the Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG). For over 20 years, Chantal has worked at the nexus of people, data, and technology, leading organizations toward greater collaboration, innovation, and impact. Her career spans the private, public, and social sectors where Chantal has developed a unique ability to build cross-sector technology initiatives that serve the common good. Through her work with TAG, Chantal has become a voice for philanthropic investment in data and technology infrastructure as well as an advocate for centering philanthropy on the "nonprofit experience" to address inequity and measurably advance outcomes.

    The Chronicle of Philanthropy, the premier source of news, information, analysis, and opinion in the nonprofit world, is growing its coverage of philanthropy and the social sector and seeking out new perspectives, diverse voices, and story ideas. Join longtime Chronicle leader Stacy Palmer to learn more about how the publication is expanding, to share your ideas for how the Chronicle can best serve the social sector, and to offer your suggested story ideas.

    Stacy helped found the Chronicle in 1988, when it was started by the Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. She has served as its top editor since 1996.

    Under Stacy’s leadership the organization has evolved from its roots as a biweekly newspaper for social-sector professionals into an organization that offers a monthly magazine, robust news, advice, and opinion sections, and a host of webinars, briefings, and other services.

    In addition, she helped forge a partnership with the Associated Press and the Conversation designed to educate the public about the nonprofit world and to establish a fellowship program to coach local journalists to provide more sustained and sophisticated coverage of nonprofits and foundations.
